Service Policy

1. Appointment and Access
For all scheduled services, a responsible person age 18 or older must be present at the residence for the duration of the visit. This ensures work can be reviewed, access is granted, and any questions or decisions can be addressed on-site.

2. Scheduling and Cancellations
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This helps us manage our schedule and better serve all clients.

3. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed in advance. We accept cash, checks, and most major credit or debit cards.

4. Safety and Worksite Conditions
Please ensure the work area is safe, accessible, and clear prior to our arrival. We reserve the right to reschedule or adjust the scope of work if conditions are unsafe or significantly different from what was discussed.

5. Scope of Work and Estimates
We will always provide a clear description of the work to be performed. If any unexpected issues arise during the job, we will communicate promptly and discuss options before proceeding.

6. Warranty on Workmanship
Bear Mountain Handyman offers a 90-day workmanship guarantee on labor. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or materials supplied by the client.

7. Materials and Supplies
Unless otherwise discussed, the cost of materials is not included in labor estimates and will be added to the final invoice. We are happy to use materials provided by the customer; however, we cannot guarantee their performance or suitability.

8. Permits and Code Compliance
Clients are responsible for acquiring any necessary permits or inspections unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will complete work to the best of our ability to meet local codes but are not liable for unpermitted work unless hired specifically to address permitting.

9. Pets and Children
For the safety of everyone involved, we kindly ask that pets and small children are kept away from the work area during service.

10. Right to Refuse Unsafe Work
Bear Mountain Handyman reserves the right to refuse or postpone service if the job site is hazardous, inaccessible, or presents a safety concern for our team.

This policy is subject to change at any time. By scheduling service with Bear Mountain Handyman, the client agrees to the terms outlined above.
